Thanks, I am stunned! I've been doing other stuff and off the Computer a
lot the past two weeks so I hadn't seen anything on your blog, or SC emails
lately.

So while that room is much cleaner, the tree has came down and boxes are now
all over the LR, as Honey has been sick all week. I need a ten foot latter
to get to the attic, so they will have to wait.

In the meantime the room looks so huge!

Finished the FS and passed it for approval! What a relief! It was approved and when I posted, I came up with three discrepancies...boo...it will wait until Friday.

Didn't bring any home work as it wouldn't have gotten touched, so no bother!

Today's picture was supposed to be of the chicken soup, as honey is still sick.

I've fallen behing again! Actually did not get on the PC on Wed evening, so no recap! That might have been because it was a late night at the office.

OK, so maybe we did make a little progress at work yesterday, we have the month of January current to about nintey percent, even if I'm not yet finished with January, It's great having help.

This evening we finished boxing up the big tree, and re-arranged the furniture in the den...looks mighty strange with out that big tree in there...there is actually a corner back there.

Worked, thought I was making progress, at the end of the day it just didn't seem to matter.

After work, we took down the tree in the den, all 8.5 feet of it, and who knows how many ornaments and lights...While Honey finished up taking the lights off and the tree down I scoured the house for any other christmas to make sure nothing is left behind for the trip to the attic!

Dan's birthday, Derek & Diane, Tiffany & Mike came over at one for pizza and cake. Tiffany went to the gun show and picked up her handgun this morning, but she carried around the badass rifle!

She will do anything for attention.

We went to the Moose Lodge "Christmas in January" party last night for dinner. If they could figure a way of keeping the food hot it would be pretty good. I just can't stand the smoke anymore.

I took two tubs full of stuff of the Christmas Tree yesterday morning, not that you can tell it!

The dogs have throughly transhed the house. I went thrifting yesterday, brought a new friend home for Lilly...2 eyeballs, lasted maybe 30 seconds, the platic ones went fast, so now she is working on picking the stuffing out of them, two antlers which are still there, and 26 individual little legs for her to tear off!

Princess has finally came back to being herself and has apparently accepted that these other dogs are here to stay. She no longer runs and hids her grumpy self, but now she is often the instigator. And she has no problem putting big ol lilly in her place!

I thought I did great adding to my christmas with souther living book collection yesterday, only to find out that I now have four new duplicates! That bytes! One I wasn't sure of, but since it was only 48 cents, I figured it was a good risk, the others tho, I duplicated one from two different thrift stores in the same day! DuHHHHHH

Have I told ya'll how much I hate this stupid Cannon A1000IS Camera....hate it hate it hate. Why I bothered to print out the EXACT camear I wanted with all the accessories that came with It as i wanted and then trusted that they would get me one for christmas is beyond me. No more, (I've said it beore but this is it) If I want it i'll just get it myself. It's not like he could have gone out and actually gotten ME something for christmas anyway, just like last year, so f him, but I'm not doing that either. I'm not doing that either, why should I do that anyway if there's nothiing in it for me. let me for and didn't just go ahead and get the one I wanted, which I will do here in a couple of months anyway and then they can take this piece of scrap... Very first prolem and #one item on my list was a rechargable battery, no FN AA batteries that don't last a week.

It takes forever to focus and by that time the photo is gone. I've grown more gray hairs waiting for the focus lock and I'm not sure it even has one. Most shots are taken without a flash becasue it doesn't key up for one i hate it i hate it i hate it.

Cops~ what is with them, they come flying up behind you out of nowhere ride on top of you with their lights bright in your mirrow, honey slows down and so do they, he pulls off the side of the road for them to go around, then they pull you over becuase they were being assholes.

Work, work, and actully left (almost) on time. Went to Tiffany's and worked on her taxes, she's supposed to be here on Thursdays so we can get some scrapping done! Really need to get things in order before we can start that on a regular basis. I think I just need to organize the office, throw Honey out them eveinings and we'll set up shop in here. ...I'm also waiting on that 102 inch TV to be hanging on the wall one night when I get home also...figure the odd's with either of those happening!

Lilly was not a very good dog this evening, spent a lot of time in her cage...

We have a new President! Finally some change will happen. At least as long as Mrs Vice President keeps her mouth shut!

19 January 2009 ~ Monday

It's a holiday! Love the drive to the office when most everyone else downtown has the day off! Seventeen minutes from door to door! I was the first one to arrive at 8:27; now if I can start getting up and be more organized again, I might start making more progress...which is why I bought my new work journals this evening. Boss called at 4:55 to let us know we could all leave at five! Ok, so I made everyone wait while I printed out the last reports, which I ran out of paper and had to take time to refill!

Time to sign up for another PowerPoint class, I think the last one was in the mid ninety's.

Today's calendar page is very appropriately titled "Let it Snow Let it Snow” Weather forecast is: SNOW. Tomorrows high of 32! Makes for a nice crisp inauguration for our new President.
Tonight I finally organized about 50% of the scrap table, only to find out that I free cycled the wrong box of Princess cutouts, gave away the one I wanted and kept the one to of been given away! I even through in a bunch of paper, the least she could have down was say thank you! Clearly she won’t be on the receiving end again.

Heat Wave...it's 30 outside!!!

Honey insisted on us going out for breakfast so we had the Shoney's buffet, they used to have great sausage patties (ok that was ten + years ago, literaly) but they have replaced them with some crappy sausage links. But the bacon was nice and crispy, I guess I'd give them a six out of ten. HOT would have been nice.

Then we went to Costco where every thing you put in the cart goes in in multipules of $10 & $20 dollars! Glad that was company money I was spending and not my own! On top of that I have placed three supply orders in the past week! But we should be set for the next six weeks.

Boy, was it a cold walk back out to the car and natuarlly the snow flurries turned into rain. Around the corner we went to Ollies, only got one book! $2.99! We then stopped by the thrift store were I picked up three blouses and a pair of boots for next years Santa Man tree, you can'at beat it when the stuff at the thrift store is marked down then the ten percent coupon to boot, so that was only ten bucks.

Drove by the house in SONO and honey dropped me off and headed out to buy a truck...they made the deal so he is happy about that, now, lets just see house fast he can get it SOLD!

Well I pretty much wasted this day, didn't get laundry done, didn't get the kitchen clean ~ I did get the dishwasher unloaded. Didn't get the christmas trees taken down, didn't manage to update the blog, Didn't down load any pictures, didn't fix dinner or did I ~ I did! Chile and Chips.

I didn't get dressed, I didn't sleep in, I didn't do my homework, I didn't give the doggy's any baths. I DIDN'T SPEND ANY MONEY!

So just what did I do????

I did...I did...I did do 10 scrapbook pages from Santa's 2007 Christmas Morning visit to Miss Mary's house!

I will have to wait until I download to find out what today's picture was all about. How could I have forgotten! Baby it's cold outside was an understatement! 15 degrees out! Isn' t that the reason that we never moved back to Ohio...go stay out of temps like that? We were up to 25 around lunchtime. Heatwave!

When you hire a payroll company to process your payroll, would it be so hard of them to do right? Had to request two address changes on three payrolls, then finally that shows up but the with holdings on two of my employees are WRONG ~ AGAIN!

That's it this damm dog has got to go. She keeps biting and draging the Gizzy around and just won't stop, the more she gets in trouble as soon as I let her back out of the cage she goes and does it again.

I'm not even sure that I came in to the office last night to get onto the PC. I did however work on organizing up the sewing room. Honey heated up all the left overs. My baby left again last night for Alabama.

A flat tire to start the day off then another very long day at work only to come home and find that Gizzy ate on my shoe today. On the bright side, honey was cooking supper when I arrived.

I finally feel like I have made some progress at the office, I managed to get a lot of old stuff consolidated into one account...big plus!

Shopped...then came home and looked at my daily calander and what is the page for today, looks like ladies shopping! I didn't get any pic's of myself shopping, so I might make something out of the receipts!

What is with LifeSavers? they replaced the lime with watermelon...eeeeccccchhhh!

Todays picture is that Daddy straightened up this morning before leaving, needless to say that with Gizzy, the organized pile lasted less than ten minutes. I just realized Lilly is probably still out in the den under the christmas tree in the "box" (puppy dog bed). I think she got tired of hearing me tell her to get off the blankets as I was cleaning up and then of GIzzy biting her ears. Now as long as she hasn't grabbed any of MY stuffed animals we'll get along ok. I'm about to shake my self off my chair I'm so cold so I guess I'd better get to bed! I just herd the christmas bell, that means she's up...

Honey left me to sleep in, but the furbaby's had different plans, up and at'em by nine thirty. First project tackeled was to take down the skinny tree in the office:

• one hundred eighty nine ornaments
• three strands of beads
• 2 poinsetta garlands
• 2 strands of wooden santa beads
• 11 assorted sized red bows
• 1 strand of bubble lights

36 hours later and the rest remains untouched! Sometime this week...

I never did manage to get dressed, Dan came home then went back out to McDonald's for McRib dinner...not what they used to be, but it was something different. So I have had McDonald's twice already this year...that will probably be all for the entire year.

Friday ~ last day before the boss heads to France! We even made it out of the office by six-thirty. And that was only about fourty-eight hours ago and I can't remember what we did!

Worked late with the boss, then went out to dinner with Honey, Tiffany & Mike, and afterwards were stopped by the boss'es place to pick up her old tv...they guys complained as they now say it must weigh about three hundred pounds. It made it into the front door and is resting on the pine chest in front of the big one that doesn't work.

Tiffany was happy, she was able to go to Ollies' and DW's.

So a little after mid-night I made plans to go across the NC border to do some freecycling, as I wasn't sleepy in a normal time. So it gave me a nice little trip across the southern end of the city. Freecycle can become expensive when you have to make Target Pit stops. Who can resist 75% off of scrapbooking stuff...just had to watch some of the Christmas items as only the blackdot items were a quarter and the reddot's were the full dollar!

So I gathered some items for next years visit of Santa & Mrs Clause to Miss Mary's foster children. I even bought little 8 page Christmas Scrapbooks to put the pictures of the individual children on Santa's Lap in; I think they will love that. I thought it only fair to Mrs Clause to help her out by stocking up on few grown up things for next year...

I have determined that I will gather my families gifts along the way this year, I have even picked up a few things already, and even have one for my MIL wrapped and tagged. I just finished wrapping my DD Birthday gift, so now everytime she comes buy she will have to look at that big purple box and droll! Every year she always asks "what did you get me?" and every year she hears the same answer "Presents" She's twenty-five now and her BD is in June, so twice a year for as long as she can remember, it's the same answer! LOL!

I bought my first two Green_Reusable Shopping Bags today, they are hardly green, white with colorful poka dots all over, when honey came home & as soon as I showed them to him the first thing he said was, "you'll never remember them unless you fold them and put them in your purse" at the same time I was folding them into their little velcoed pocket just for that purpose. He got a kick out of that one. I think I will use them as a pattern and make several more, they might even become next years Christmas Gift.
