Mamogram again this morning, the lump has shrunk since last Thursday, Ultrasound show's it's just a cyst. The head of radiology came to check it out just to confirm, and I even received a phone call from MY DOCTOR confirming, so I'm good to go, until it starts bothering me again, then they want to be able to drain it,...it...like there is only one... Nah,don't do needles.

Tomorrow night's crop was just cancelled.

Bummed out on the couch with the newspapers today, one big stack has been greatly reduced, I don't remember the last time that I read a newspaper on the day!

...OMG! Princess just did a complete Howl/growl! Only the second time ever...I guess she was tired of talking to me and just got to the point! She wanted a bis-cute! Just never have the video at the right time...she has been very talkitative the last couple of weeks.

Had a good time at Funnybone tonight. Don't know what happened to the waiter, he never did come back to get the food order.
Great comedy for a change that wasn't all dirty! Wow, it can be done.

        Choose your consequences

        Choose your consequences

The answers you find will come from the questions you ask. The things you accomplish will result from the efforts you mount. The places you go will depend

on the journeys you undertake. The rewards you enjoy flow from the risks you are willing to accept.

When you control the causes, the effects will be to your liking. What you get from any experience or situation depends primarily on what you put into it.

Those who are wise, have made the effort to learn. Those who are wealthy, have made the effort to earn.

Output depends on input. Input depends on you. What you are giving will determine how you are living. You can get whatever you desire by taking the steps

that will cause it to happen. Everything you do has a consequence. Use that reality to your advantage. Choose your ideal consequences by carefully choosing
        your actions.

My camera has finally arrived and so far it has taken a few good pictures, it'll take me a while to figure out how DD takes self portraits as my get instantly deleted.

        Camera has arrived

The camera arrived earlier,  I wasn't expecting it to be so small, it's not any bigger than a stack of about six credit cards...picking the red was the right choice, just so I will be able to see it!   .aaah the battery is now charged and the disc arrived seperatly a little while ago...

        Jumpstart Your Book of Me!

by Angie Pedersen (Feb 28, 2003)

Many people are excited about the prospect of preserving the memories of their lives, but they just don't know where to start. They feel overwhelmed by the thought of chronicling their entire life. But you don't have to start at the beginning and work your way through! Start with some easy, fun layouts, and then move on once you have a plan for the rest of your stories.

        1. Journal about the meaning of your name. Research it at www.namestusa.com. Journal about how you feel about your name, why your parents chose it, and/or if you think the meaning is true for you.
        2. Write about your favorite color. What does that color make you think of? Which of your possessions are this color?
        3. Consider where you'd like to travel in your lifetime. What sites would you like to see? What would you eat? Who would go with you? Gather some travel brochures and journal your plans!
        4. List what you love about each season. Think about what you eat at certain times of the year, places you go, music you listen to, and things you see. Take pictures and include those!
        5. Jot down your 5-10 "Everyday Movies" -- what movies could you watch everyday and not get tired of them?
        6. What are your "Creature Comforts"? What things do you find immediately comforting? Think comfy clothes, foods, books, bubble baths, beauty treatments, etc.
        7. Ponder what you would do if you won the lottery. What would you spend it on? Include price tags, since money will be no object! Would you share it, and with whom? Would you quit your job? How would it change your life?
        8. Do a layout on your dream job(s). What did you want to be when you grew up? What do you dream of doing now?
        9. List the Top 25 Things to Do in my Lifetime. Then include the dates of when you accomplish them!
        10. Do a layout on what famous person you would like to have lunch with and why. What questions would you ask? Let your mind stretch from the past to current day.

These are thoughts that anyone can jot down, with little preparation or forethought. You can also find many more ideas about scrapbooking about yourself in The Book of Me: A Guide to Scrapbooking about Yourself. Read journaling articles at www.scrapyourstories.com. Start writing and get a jump-start on preserving your personal memories!

        LIFE AS A SKETCH

Developing a composition is a continuous flow of ideas, where the artist combines, adds, reduces, adapts and discards the various elements in an unending discovery of new possibilities.

Taking that photo just got easier...I went ahead and orded the camera from Costco, it should be here next week...and while I was there, I went ahead and ordered the XXL crop tote! Couldn't find anything else to match size/price anywhere else.

        Tuesday, May 12

        12 May 2009 ~ Tuesday

Project 365 is supposed to be a photo a day...I guess that would be a whole lot easier if I actually had a camera to use...

        Monday, May 11

        11 May 2009 ~ Monday

So much for making it to Jason's to crop, I'm so tired, I'm not sure I'm going to make it till eight! and I was in bed by 9:30 last night. Did make progress today on my third party's! ...

        Sunday, May 10

        10 May 2009 ~ Sunday

It's Mother's Day...Tiff is supposed to be here at 8:30 to take me to breakfast!

Gizzy thought we should be up by 5:30 this morning...well, at least I have most of the Sunday paper read...Daddy is picking up Gizzy to go to the park today! Maybe that will totally exhaust her for a few hours...right!

        09 May 2009 ~ Saturday

Today we had the self defense class for the office. We had a blast! Then went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch. Tomorrow is JoAnne's birthday.

Went to Ollie's...bad move...$$$. Then went to Joann's. did much better there! not much to choose from.

Tiff came by with chikfilet...her boyfriend picked her up to go out!

        Friday, May 8

        08 May 2009 ~ Friday

Gizzy has now chewed on the binding on the sofa cushion.

        07 May 2009 ~ Thursday

More organizing in the AM...managed to put the table cloth out in the den! I would really like to be able to work from my desk in the office, so I need to get it a little more organized to be able to pull in the scrapping stuff and have it workable. I want six inch hinged attachments to add to the legs of the table in the den so I work standing up, or maybe some eight inch blocks with the middle carved out that I can attach to the legs...may a set of bed risers would work...mmm... I'm thinking too early in the morning...

But what if I fail of my purpose here?

But what if I fail of my purpose here?
It is but to keep the nerves at strain,
to dry one's eyes and laugh at a fall,
and baffled, get up and begin again.

        (Robert Browning)

        Ever failed?

        Ever tried? Ever failed?
        No matter.
        Try Again.
        Fail again. Fail better.

        (Samuel Beckett)
        From The Painter's Keys

        06 May 2009 ~ Wednesday

More organizing this morning, I really need to get rid of all the portables and just pack the individual items I will be using for each crop...just have to figure out how to do that! Sorta getting better at it.

Tiff says she's coming over Sunday and we are cropping...

        05 May 2009 ~ Tuesday

I actually woke up this morning before Gizzy, a whole hour before gizzy's time~Of course as soon as I sat up she was ready to go!

Zero pages tonight, but we did start getting things organized again.

Gizzy somehow managed to find the last of the reese pieces that I had burried in my stuff,

        04 May 2009 ~ Monday

So what is with Gizzy playing with a snake in the house! good thing Dan was there or she might have had to move out with the snake, he said it was already dead and it looked like it was, but was it when it came into the house? Just how did it get into the house and did it have any friends...this is the part where now I don't take off my shoes in house...

Speaking of shoes, apparently i didn't get the bedroom door closed tight enough this morning so Gizzy had one of my NEW shoes on the couch, then in the bedroom she proceded to chew apart the twenty year old six pack of coke! Never seen that one coming.

Dan packed out more of his stuff, bet he got wet unloading it!

3 pages completed - for me this time~

        03 May 2009 ~ Sunday

So Dave comes down Sunday morning and cuts the rest of the grass for the "old lady" down the steet...he siad it's gonna cost me! yep...I'll get him back for that one. In his effert to make me self sufficient - like I have asked him for anything - he attached a little set of grips to my lawn mower so that I will be able to cut the entire front yard next time, and not have to stop due to not being able to hold the go lever long enough! And what was it I didn't like about the idea of condo living? It's starting to sound good to me right now... then again I could just hire someone RELIABLE to show up to cut the grass for a lot less than the monthly condo fees.

        02 May 2009 ~ Saturday

National Scrapbook Day in Craddock! 21 Pages completed. Mostly not for me! ...so what else is new.

        01 May 2009 ~ Friday

Nice evening! Finally slept for six hours straight
