Finally making progress at work, started processing in the online system, just a few more old issues to clear up, then I will be caught up...who knew it would possibly take this long to do so!
Had a dentist appointment first thing, lucky me...I get to go back in a week for
a filling! I'm amazed I even have any teeth left, stopped at the thrift store,
spent way too much, but I did get a few things for the new hobby that honey has
been drafted into joining me in...altered art! He's not fond of scrapbooking,
but this takes it to a whole new level and it's something we can do together.
Of course I didn't explain it all to him before I drug him to the first meeting.
He loves surprising me, my turn for a change. Kinda bribed him, saying we would
stop at dairy queen afterwards, but then, we didn't need to as the hosts had
brought lots of food.
Got some errands done this morning, then to work. The inlaw's are coming for a
family BBQ on Sunday, so I have been getting a little done this week, we finally
started the wallpaper in the den last week, have two sections finished, five
more to go, will probably wait till next week to finish, after almost two years
we hung pictures on the wall back there! Yah! I'm really hoping to have have
enough wallpaper left over so I can carry it on into the kitchen.
I cleaned out some stuff from the office, but it only made it to the scrap
table, so 2+2, the duvet cover and shams, I never got around to returning last
year, I decided to cover one of my quilts and put it on the bed in the guest
room. Put a nice table cloth over the ugly table, picked up a small lamp for
$2.56 this moring, now all I need to do is scrub the counter tops in there and
it will be ready in case anyone stays over this weekend.
Started packing for the crop on Saturday, even managed to straighten up a little
in the scrap room. I don't remember the last time I had six hours sleep, so I
guess I had better get off to bed now.

twelve hours sleep & what do I wake up to...Gizzy PooPoo using the bedroom floor instead of going outside. Flused that, put the babies out side, had to go after my sock, but in the process Honey had but the wallpaper up on one of the walls! This is going to look pretty sharp when the room is finished, I think I might just carry the wallpaper on into the kitchen.

Almost got this posted before midnight....
Honey came and took me to lunch, had an excuse, he was bringing back the hand truck I brought home on Monday after he fixed the flat tire, while he was making the trip anyway, I just had him bring in the card table and crock pot for the shower tomorrow.
Went to VB and had dinner with Mike at Frankies, Ribs...still not a fan, but the steak was quite good
Their onion sucked, no wonder they gave it free with dinner. two bites and got rid of it.
Looked for the new art store at Kemps RIver, couln't find it, it was after nine any way and they would have been closed anyhow. Stopped at Target to pick up baby gifts for the shower tomorrow. How can such tiny clothes be so expensive?
Got the cutest little gift bag, for the baby mittens, riped it now once when I was opening it, but the second time to.
Past my bedtime..

Today I took Dan to his first meeting of the "Junk-it-up-Altered-Books-Meetup-Group", didn't do a real good job of "pre" explaining what the group was about...tried to tell him what ATC's are...he didn't get the point, so I wasn't about to try explaing what "altered" books and art entailed!
Made another trip to the GB thrift store and again, walked out without any clothes! Books were discounted (Very Unusual) by twenty percent so we spent a whopping two dollars and something!
Went to costco and could not possibly pass up the "double chocolate cream" pie they had...if only it had been made with chocolate grahm crust it would be almost as good as the seven chocolate cake we had a couple years ago...and can't get anymore!
One month deadline till Tax Day!...and I have actually started getting things together.

Ok, so we slept in (8:30ish) but then I started on the old PC then I have been switching back and forth all day between the PC and the bed...nothing accomplished today! ...opps...I did manage to start the dishwasher!

Friday the 13th! Got the all corporate extension filed. Left work at five...again, still daylight, but raining on the drive home! Honey remembered to put the meat in the crockpot and start it this morning, I forgot about it until I walked into the kitchen and seen it sitting there...but it certainly did smell nice when I arrrived home after work. My darling little girl and her "boyfriend" came for dinner.

Monday it was 20 and icy roads did some damage to many cars, tow companies were
in heaven!, today I don't know exacty how hot it did get, but I broke out in a
sweat int he time it took me to load groceries and get the air conditioning
running in the car! Talk a about a change of temp!
It's 9pm, and it got "cold" when the sun went down...it's still 71 out! For the
first time in who knows how long, I actually spent a lot of time outside
today...started with a breakfast buffet at the Moose Lodge, then I had a nine am
FreeCycle appointment to pick up two bags of clothes, WOW! she had me four hudge
trash bags full when I picked them up. I then stopped at the dollar tree for
some easter stuff, then stopped at the local thrift store, they have these
shopping carts, you have to see them, next time I'm taking a picture, they are
big and blue, and look like something out of bedrock from the Flintstones.
anyway... I came away with four pair of dress shoes, two handbags, a couple of
Taste of Home (06 & 08) cookbooks, Flylady's Body Clutter Book, a scrapbook and
a couple of glasses for thirty bucks. Not the first piece of clothing!
History: yesterday I decided to clean out my closet and downsize! HaHa! (until
I saw the freecycle add in MY SIZE!) So I did real well not buying any thing, I
even went through the freecycle bag in the parking lot to make a donation...stop
the clutter before it get's into the house...
After that I went to get groceries at a store a ways away, that I don't often
get to...well in the strip is a dollar general and a scrapbookiing store...three
bucks in the DG, Evidenece has been eliminated from the SB store, but boy, did I
go into sticker shock at what the prices are running now! Five years ago a
12x12 was 39cents, now they are 89 and up, I was very conserviate, (ok, not well
enough), but I did like that they have papers that I haven't seen before in the
big box stores. And for the last six,seven months I have avoided the online SB
stores also. Then I went into the grocery store, specific items circled in the
add, walked by the steaks and had to take a double look, thirty dollars for
three little steaks! I'm not a big fan, and at those prices, never will
be!...today we became fans of pork chops, 98/pound, lots to get vacume seals and
into the deep freeze! Couldn't pass up 1.88 for lean couine, might go back while
they are still that price and pick up a few more, anyway I left their after
spending another seventy dollars. All this before one!, which for me, they only
time I function on Saturday mornings, is on Crop day! (Which I did last night
from 7:30 to 11:30)
I got home, put the groceries away, then pulled out an old sheet, and outside,
pulled those bags of clothes out and went to town! LOL!, not just a lot of stuff
my size, but DAUGHTER APPROVED! stuff included, ok not everything, but several
items, she even pull a couple things out for herself and the hermit crab old guy
(Dad #2) she shares a house with!
The lady must love red, as there was a ton of it...not stuff that I will wear,
(out of date) but stuff that will be great in my "Mrs. Clause" closet this
Christmas.
I even fit four pairs of pants out of the bunch, actually I think that was all
of them, you have no idea how rare that is, I'm the one that takes fifty pair of
pants, in all different sizes, into the fitting room, and might walk out with
one that fits. So then DD has a date toninght, and wanted a safe place for her
new BF to stay, (she lives five houses down) to spend the night, so she decided
to set the bed up in the guest room...let me see, FREE Help!, didn't take long
for mama to put her to work, so we pulled almost everything out of the room,
think (storage locker) and set the bed up...Painting that room was on my list
for January, now, I'm half way there! Of course eveything is now piled in the
pass-thru room, but it's no longer out of sight, out of mind! So we all know
what next weeks projects are going to be, haul the rest of that crap out to the
garage, for one final step before the thrift store! ...and all that by four!
..now if I could only get so much accomplished on a regular basis; I do vaguely
remember those days.

Cleaning of Make-up brushes
I bought my make up brushs in the late 80's! The were pricy Sebastian
make up brushes, I picked up when I worked in a salon, now I just wish
I had bought a few more!
I have misplaced them a few times and went to the artstore/michaels and
bought paint brushs, as long as you take care of them they seem to last
forever...twenty years so far...wow!
