28 April 2009 ~ Tuesday
I finally got the shoes returned to Macy's that I bought in December that were a size to small...look at the receipt, it says 180 days...but I have never seen anyone look so carefully at the shoes to see if they had been worn...
The suit I was going to buy...opps...it's still hanging in the shoe department. oh well...

I just need to go ahead and breakdown and order the great big crop tote from Leland. I pulled the camera out to actually take pictures at this crop...wouldn't work, I think the battery went dead, so I recharged it last night, should go out and test it out.
Big lot is supposed to have $3 paper packs...might just have to call tiff and she if she wants to run and see what the have. or maybe I'll just go to Frederick.

Hi Jamie,
Welcome to the group. It sounds like you are working in the right direction, (where I'm trying to get!) you just need to give up the regrets! Make that the first thing you pack up and get rid of!
I'm working on getting towards the minimalist clothing myself, I have not done laundry in three weeks, so that is really helping to cull the closet down to the things I really don't wear...ie... really don't NEED! If I keep looking at it and passing up wearing it then I shouldn't have a problem with passing it to the thrift store!
I collected a couple bags of clothing via freecycle a month or so ago, and am loving much of it (Hard to believe the pants actually fit!!!) but I'm seeing that I haven't pulled out several of the tops yet, so no lose there in setting them free.
I have had the same regrets in letting go of some stuff, however was it something you WOULD actually going to use (if you still had it) or was it just something you missed? I find if it's something I needed, clearly I found a substitue and if I simply missed it...well... oh well. Less clutter less headachs!
Better get back to work...
"National Scrapbook Day" is tomorrow, Saturday, April 25, 2009 8:00 AM!

WHERE IS EVERYONE? - DiannaPosted by: "Audrey Huffman" huffpede@yahoo.com huffpedeWed Apr 15, 2009 6:36 am (PDT)Dianna, you want to come to my house and pare down my closet. It isn't that I have so much, as what I do have needs to be given away. I think those clothes are called my "grunge" clothes and no Tim H wouldn't want them either...LOL. I'm proud of you for standing up and being counted as you are an important person.. TFS. Take care and have a creative day. Love ya, Audrey A Group that likes to have inky fun! http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/inkyfunsta mpers/ Visit my Blog at: http://myinkyfun. blogspot. com/ --- On Tue, 4/14/09, Scrap Booking <scrapping23323@ yahoo.com> wrote: From: Scrap Booking <scrapping23323@ yahoo.com> Subject: [inkyfunstampers] Re: WHERE IS EVERYONE? After six years, I was no closer to having a ring on my finger, than I was on day one, this is what happens when you relax your standards; I never planned on living with anyone I wasn't married to, and I won't again! I don't so much mind a long engagement, but I would have at least liked to have gotten that. It might just be a piece of paper to some, but to some it means a lot. So my current engagement is my scrap-booking and the clothes closet: Last nights retail therapy was awesome...half price plus clearance acrylic stamps at AC Moore then I had the 25% off coupon to top that off... after the discounts only fifty bucks! Eight $10-12 sets for 4.99 the $32 letter set (they match the numbers I bought with a Christmas gift card last December) only eight bucks! I really liked the way the cards came out Friday night, so I think Card Pockets will be my gifts this year. This is something that I can make for office gifts and not have to spend any money! Cha~ching! After last weekends scrap yard sale, I really must get back into "NOOOO-Buy" fast! I certainly have no need to buy anything except adhesives for the rest of the year. I have ordered some stamping books and I can´t wait until they get here. Looking at pictures on the computer is nice, but sometimes I just need to have a picture and directions in hand. Besides, the books were only $5 each and free shipping, three of which I spotted last night at AC Moore for 20-25 each. I did find two though that after looking through I wish I had ordered, so I think I will put those on my wish list for next time. The clothes closet has been a thinking process for the past month, and now I have room to sort slowly...I can't believe how much I have acquired in two years~two years ago I really really donated to the thrift store to the point I had over a foot of empty rod space...not anymore!...project one is to get some of that stuff back to the thrift store! Less to choose from sure makes it much easier to get dressed in the morning; sometimes I wish I was back to wearing uniforms just because it was so simple! The funny thing is, I look back at the pictures I took of the closet when last it was presentable; my favorites are still the same clothes. (I don't do trends or t-shirts). I'm still tempted to go buy five black suits and pitch the rest! ...but then reality $$$ kicks in and what I have looks all the better, I just need to thin it down. Things are looking up for Dianna in Virginia! |

Stalking
Stalking...is it my imagination or what... one day i come home and realize the guest room door is closed, left it open in the morning Today...rinsed my glass out then set it ontop of the coffee pot, picked it up this evening and it had koolaid in it walked in the bedroom and one of the pillows was on the floor pretty sure that about 10:10 when the dogs went crazy about the truck that was pulled up out front, it was because they recongized the sound I guess I could have just gotten up and looked out the window; not worth my time. Not that this would be a surprise, as i can imagine that the phone records were checked this evening and my call that was placed was seen ~ back to assiging of blame. and the boss says I'm not detail oriented any more. seems I may have been here before. only it was becasue of some chocolate wrappers left next to the candy dish on the credenza looking for a white shirt for a funeral, that caused a spill that caused... paper cups that are here one day then gone the next, now what would I do carrying off a cup with out a lid; some would, just not me. Of course my pistol was the first to get packed, Not an issue as it has been replaced. The clothes in my new closet spaced. This moring or yesterday morning, can't recall, must have been yesterday when I pulled out the trash, I locked up the garage, wonder if it still is...let's find out...still locked! time to put the baby's to bed. Time WE |
New thoughts for that which lies ahead...
New Journal Page - OptionsI have been giving a lot of thought lately to options. What I want to do, where I want to go, who I want to do things with, etc.. Do I want to be nearer my kids? friends? family? Sort of an extension of all those New Year's promises. Making new goals, new dreams... I love this blog, random find from one to the next...sale, sale and go...might be more of an option than previously thought...as long as my scraproom can become portable why not? a fourteen day supply of clothes shouldn't take up but so much room options, thinking, options, thinking |

I have puppy that is just to good at chewing them raw bones in to little bones. And what makes her think she needs to be chewing on my hands?
Gizzy just got scammed, princess kept trying to get me attention and as soon as I said what to Princess Gizzy naturally had to get in between us, at which point Princess ran off with the bone...
Tonight I remembered to pre heat the bed!

13 April 2009 ~ Monday
It's nice to wake up to just one alarm that goes off when you will actually be getting up...even keeps gizzy still till it's really time to get up.
Planned to go cropping tonight, couldn't find it so went shopping instead...ooooooops...that no buy didn't last but twenty-four hours. But I did hit just in time to purchase a batch of stamps worth $100 for only $32. A great variety, so I think I'm good for quite a while. Even found some scrap stuff at the 39cent store.
Retail therapy is still cheaper than a shrink and I'lll have something to show for it in the long run. Learned not to wear those new shoes for a twelve hour day.
12 April 2009 ~ Sunday
Happy Easter.
Tiff & Dave showed up about 12:30 helped finish fixing dinner. We had the usual, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, tiff made her green bean caserole, and awlsome chocolate pie from Costco. Managed to get everything on the list onto the table, only we forgot to make stuffinig...it wasn't on the list!
Walt came over, and you have got to see his shoes. Cotter showed up again; three years later. It was nice to see him again. Had to take pics of Walters shoes, then made fun of Tiffany by taking self-portraits!
Doggies didn't get the ham bone this year; but they did get a new bag of food they like thursday.
Gotta get to work on them taxes...

Scrapbook yard sale ~ wayyyyy ~ to much money, but at least Tiffy owes me for 1/3 of it! So actually we didn't do too bad. We now have about six hundred more sheets of paper than we needed even before we left, and some other things. She was thrilled, she finally has lego paper!
She just left about half an hour ago, the kid has it seriously backwards...you stay home during the week nights and go out on the weekends...
All three doggies got along really well...
That Chocolate pie is all mine tomorrow...probly will have to fight dave over it.

05 April 2009 ~ Sunday
Sunday you talked to Kenny, forgot to mention that you got kicked to the curb to him, but showed up here five minutes after I got off the phone with him, another one of your games, where you stop by and wanted to see if I wanted to ride out to Norfolk with you...why???...Saturday, you made it clear that you didn't want to be here, you didn't bother moving back in last time, pretty evident in the fact that I packed all your belongings you had in this house out in about an hour....that's right becasue your only commitment here was your clothes and your computer. Well you took some of your clothes and your toothbrush on Saturday, I'm still trying to figure why you took your toothbrush if you were staying at the shop when you already have one there?
You never brought back the furniture or bed linens so not much committment coming across on this end. You know of all the stupid things you have done lately, your fatal mistake was dismissing me to walk out of that bar alone. If you think that was minor issue, well, it cost you your entire relationship, so congratulations on your minor little issue. Of course not that you have had three days I'm sure you have already called your ex and made plans with her again. and your best friend (and we are clear that that is clearly not me) had the nerve to tell me that I was making the mistake, at least she had more balls than you, at least she tried to fight for your relationship which is more than did. But that's right you can just fall back to Tina, it worked so well for you the first go round. Enjoy.

04 April 2009 ~ Saturday
So it wasn't bad enough to walk in her be sitting there, but your drunk ass when I was beyond ready to leave said see ya...BIG FUCKING MISTAKE, you should never ever have let me walk out of a bar by myself. That clearly showed how important I was to you.
Then just how long ago did you make her a member of the moose? were you EVER planning to let me in on that little secret? proably not as secrects and lies is what you are all about, it's all you have ever been about. And you have the nerve not to trust me, I never gave you any reason not to trust me but you sure have been full of them, lies, lies and more lies, then there is all your secrets that you don't consider lies.
Better yet MF, you can just go back and forth between Loraine and Tina. That should keep you perfectly happy as we both know how much you still love tina.

RETROspect:
Well, what a freeing night this was to become. There was a reason the photo album was broken while I was packing for the crop. Let's just say, that before the night was over, Dianna was back! Alone...but back. Just me and my babies! A great night indeed. It might have taken over fourteen months to get to this breaking point but it has finally arrived and it is a good thing.
Almost six years, but now it's time to move on. Sometimes walking out of a bar alone can be the best thing to ever happen...
